As part of its continuing education program Life supports Experiential Trips to various local venues for its members and their immediate family. These trips are managed entirely by Life volunteers and require sign ups utilizing this website. For all events sign-up and payment will be via PayPal.  Tour prices are for contracted special group rates. This may result in minimum and maximum tour group size.  Tours must be paid for when signing up.  Fees are non-refundable unless the member or coordinator can find a replacement and member notifies the coordinator at least 3 days before the event.

As with all our programs LIFE member volunteers are needed to support this effort.  Tour leaders are required for all events.  If you are interested in helping out with this new program contact Marie Ruckstuhl at

Trips will be published on this site when they are confirmed by the Trip committee.  Sign-up forms for these Experiential Trips will activate approximately 3 weeks prior to the each trips.  The names of all participants must be listed on the registration form.

Trip attendees must enter as a group in order to get the group rate.  So please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Tour UCF Athletics!

   Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 9:30 -noon 

An Inside Look at the UCF Athletics Department

This is a walking tour of the various UCF campus athletic venues and facilities.  Limited  Golf cart transport between sites in the Athletic  Village will be available.

Stops: Football stadium, Football Locker Room, Tower Club or Carl Black & Gold Cabana Club, Garvy Center for Student-Athlete Nutrition, John Euliano Baseball Park. Brief stops at Nicholson Fieldhouse and Wayne Densch Sports Center will be included if time and training schedules allow.

Parking available in Garage F (located between baseball stadium and the Venue) on 3rd floor or higher is free.

Tour starts at the entrance to the football stadium.

Maximum number: 20 people.  Dress casual, prepare for sunny, warm weather and bring water.

Cost: Free.  Donations welcome.

Rollins Campus Cornell Museum

Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 10am – Noon

Location: Rollins Campus:  1000 Holt Avenue, Orlando, FL 32789 (at the lake end of Holt Avenue)

The Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins offers a different art experience: an extensive and diverse collection, an emphasis on teaching and engagement. Elizabeth Coulter from the Cornell Museum who will have presented a lecture on “Dangerous Women” to LIFE on 9/18 will be our docent for the museum tour.

Parking: There is very limited parking near museum; car-pools are encouraged.  Free parking is available at  the SunTrust garage on Lyman Avenue with ticket validation at the  Cornell Museum.
